Communication is the most challenging, frustrating, and confusing thing most of us will ever do. Ask any person who is raising a teenager, dealing with a demanding boss, or placating crazy customers on a daily basis.
But at the same time, when communication does work, when you really connect and create a new level of compassion and understanding with someone, it can be the most rewarding, heart-opening, and make-your-life-worth-living experience you�ve ever had.
I was once told that the natural outcome of most communication... sadly... is misunderstanding, and, after twenty years of studying the field, I think this is more fact than fiction.
If you are raising kids, or have gone through a divorce or even just have parents, I probably don't need to remind you that to create the relationship of your dreams you need every possible skill, tip, tool and technique available. I wish someone had taught me about these mistakes years and heartbreaks ago, but...
I have discovered most of the 5 relationship communication mistakes
the hard way... by making them.
And I didn't just make them once, but over and over and over and... Well, you get the point. Sometimes it can take a while to see what's right in front of you. So, read on. You needn�t make the same mistakes I�ve made.
The first heart-breaking mistake is... Building a Case against somebody by gathering evidence and showing examples. We think that if we just prove our point, show them how smart and right we are and how wrong they are, then they will surely see our wisdom and embrace us in awe of our insight.
"How's that working for you?"... It doesn't work, it never has worked, and it never will work.
In reality, building a case against somebody will only make them more distant. When we show the other person how bad, wrong and stupid they are they'll only want to run from us.
So, what's the alternative? At our �Create Relationship Magic� seminars we teach you a four-step method called The Language of Peace � a way to speak compassionately and build connections with people instead of building cases against them.
This method focuses on relating to the other person's feelings and needs. It�s a way to make sure the other person feels connected--feels that they have been heard and are respected for their feelings, thoughts and needs. Only then is it effective to make a request around your own needs that won�t be heard as �case building.�
So, the first question to ask yourself before you start to speak is, �Do I want to build a case against them , or do I want to build a connection with them?� And then your intent, along with the four steps of the Language of Peace, will guide you in building the connection you want.
Avoiding this one mistake is the most important in keeping my relationship with my beloved as close and intimate as it is. I have to ask myself constantly whether I�m l looking to build a case against him to show him how bad, wrong and stupid it is to leave the wet sponge in the bottom of the sink. Or whether I�d rather build a connection with him by thanking him for washing the dishes and contributing to our cozy home.

Only a few days after Ebay kicked all of the sellers auctioning virtual goods, including World of Warcraft gold, off their auction site, Blizzard decided they needed to take some action as well to stem the flow of real money trading for virtual goods.
This comes upon the heels of Blizzard's wide-scale actions last year when they banned close to 60,000 World of Warcraft accounts for terms of service violations. This year it is going to be the gold farmers who are on the run. Blizzard recently announced in their forums that they have "filed a federal lawsuit against the operators of Peons4hire, a popular gold-selling organization. As part of the lawsuit, the operators of Peons4hire have been asked to immediately cease all in-game spamming efforts by all entities and websites under their control."
Since these gold farmers use bots to spam other users within the game, they are very disruptive to other Warcraft players, especially if you are trying to do some grinding or gold farming on your own. In addition, real money transfers for virtual goods is not in the spirit of WoW game-play as it gives players with more disposable income unfair advantages in the game.
Thankfully, since the release of Blizzard's spam filters, a lot of the worst spam has stopped, but it will take a lot more diligence on Blizzard's part to finally put the trade in real money for gold to bed. This first round of cease and desist orders, though, is a step in the right direction. Combined with Ebay's actions, this should go a long way to level the playing field for players who want to just enjoy the game without spending hundreds of dollars just to keep up with other players. It is definitely an excellent first move and it will be interesting to see how they follow-up.

If you�re new to flavored teas, there�s a real treat in store for you. There�s a tea for every taste and with so many blends to choose, from you�ll likely have difficulty deciding on just one or two.
The best flavored teas are created from blending fine loose tea with natural flavors from fruits, spices, herbs and florals. Artificial flavors should never be used, or they will leave the tea with a fake taste that�s easy to recognize.
In order to get the best flavored tea, you must also choose blends made with the best tea. To do this you need to understand how the tea is graded. This is a bit difficult, as there are no international grading standards for tea. Each country grades tea differently, and each variety of tea is graded differently, as well. So, to choose the best flavored tea, it�s important to know how each variety of tea that is used to make flavored tea is graded. Here are the basics on tea grading.
Black Tea
Black tea is graded primarily based on how it�s processed. So, while this will tell you the approximate percentage of whole leaves in your tea, and may tell you if it comes from an early or late plucking, it�s not the total picture when it comes to judging the quality of the tea. Knowing where the tea was grown and how tea is harvested in this part of the world is important, too. In the US, the best black teas are considered whole leaf teas and are designated by the term Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe. You should avoid teas marked �dust� as these are typically the lowest grades of black tea. Dust grades are usually only used in tea bags.
Green Tea
Green tea is typically graded by the shape of the leaf in China. In other parts of the world, green tea is also usually graded by leaf shape, but different names are used to describe the leaf shapes. Within the leaf shapes, in both China and other countries, you�ll find grades that further break down the quality of the tea. For example, Chinese green teas labeled for export are labeled by the following leaf styles: Gunpowder, Imperial, Young Hyson, Hyson, Twankay, Hyson Skin or Dust style. Within these categories there are several actual grades.
For instance, Gunpowder tea is graded from Pinhead to Pea Leaf and further subdivided into special, first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and Common Gunpowder. While the leaf shapes don�t mean much to us in the US, we do know that the best gunpowder green tea would be graded special and the worst would be graded common.
In addition, tea plucked earliest in the season will have better flavor than tea plucked later in the season. This same fact is true of black and oolong teas. So, if you find a tea labeled �first plucked� or �first flush� that is also of a high grade, you know you have a very good tea. However, this designation will not be reflected in the actual grade of the tea. When it comes to choosing green tea, it�s recommended that you buy from a tea merchant that you know and choose the green tea that he recommends as quality.
Oolong Tea
Oolong tea from China is graded in a much simpler manner than Chinese green teas. They don�t designate the tea by the leaf shape. All oolong tea is made from larger leaves, because oolong teas are made from leaves that are grown further down the tea plant. Oolong teas are graded based on how much whole leaf the tea batch contains. The method is easy to follow and understand. The best oolong tea is referred to as �Fanciest� or �Extra Fancy�, while the lowest grade of oolong tea is referred to as �Common�. Since most oolong tea is produced in China, it�s fairly simple to sort out a good oolong flavored teas produced there.
Oolong tea produced in Taiwan, also known as Formosa oolong, is graded differently, but the grades are still quite easy to understand. Formosa oolong teas are graded according to a standard developed by the Taiwanese government. The best Formosa oolong teas are graded Finest to Choice and Finest. The lowest grades of Formosa oolong are graded Standard. Since most oolong teas are produced in China or Taiwan, knowing the grades from these two countries will cover most of the oolong teas you�ll run across.
White Tea
White tea�s grading is simpler, because the time when the tea leaves were plucked is not part of determining the quality. All white tea is from a first plucking, because there is only one plucking of white tea during each growing season. Therefore, choosing a quality white flavored from China simply means choosing one of the two highest grades of white tea, Silver Needles or White Peony. However, these grading standards apply just to Chinese teas; if you choose a Ceylon white flavored tea or a Darjeeling white tea the grades may not be the same. White flavored teas are fairly rare; most of them come from China. As more white flavored teas become available, how they are graded in different countries should become more apparent.
So, to choose a good flavored tea, start by choosing a flavor that appeals to you and then see which varieties of tea are made with this flavor. Then, you can look at the grade of the tea you�re selecting and whether or not it�s flavored with natural flavorings. Now, you have all the information you need to determine if the tea is high quality. Of course, when it comes right down to it, most of us simply buy from a tea shop that we can trust to carry just the very best teas.

* Right-click appropriate hard disk drive, then click Properties
* Select the General tab,
* Click the Disk Cleanup button
(Disk Cleanup will take a few minutes to examine your disk )
* When the Disk Cleanup dialog box appears, select the Files from the list that correspond to what you want to delete.
* Click OK
* Click Yes to "Are you sure you want to perform theses actions?" box
* Click OK
To Remove Files Stored on Your Hard Disk
To remove files stored on your hard disk that you no longer use, follow these steps:
* Click Start, and then click My Computer.
* Right-click the disk in which you want to free up space, and then click Properties.
* Click the General tab, and then click Disk Cleanup.
* Click the Disk Cleanup tab (if it is not already selected), click to select the check boxes next to the files that you want to remove, and then click OK.

Disk Cleanup does not clear your browsing history. It certainly isn't necessary to clear these, but if you share your computer, there is a privacy issue when others can see where you go on the Internet

There are several methods for networking your home or small office computers. The simplest and most cost effective home networks technologies we will look at today are Wired and Wireless networks and the Pro's and Con's of each.
Wired Networks
Wired networks are seen as the most stable and reliable form of networking by people as this technology has been around for a long time.
Wired networks are great to use when you have the space and ability to run network cables through your house. In return for this effort you get a secure and reliable network with good data transfer speeds. This means that you will be able to send information from one computer to another one quickly.
A wired network is seen as more secure as any malicious users will only be able to get into your systems through your external internet connection or by connecting a wire directly to your router, switch or hub. Even then this problem can be contained through the use of firewalls, sophisticated routers or in the later case by not letting strangers into your house who are trying to run a network cable to their machine.
A wired network is seen as more reliable as the signal is sent over wires and not broadcast over a relatively uncontrollable area. Your network speeds and quality are not affected by weather conditions, thickness of walls etc.
With a wired network you can expect speeds from between 10Mbps with older technology up to 1000Mbps with newer hardware. This allows for excellent data transfer speeds between machines allowing for fast sharing of data and files over your network.
The price for wired home networking hardware is extremely cheap as the technology has been around for a long time and there is a lot of competition from manufacturers keeping the prices down. You can get a basic router or network hub from �10 - �40 pounds that will allow you to share your internet connection and files across multiple machines. A basic network card should cost between �5-10 with the faster 1000Mbps cards costing from �5-�15 each.
Replacing faulty wiring can be tricky and expensive if you have hidden it away behind your walls. Another bad aspect of having wires is that each machine must have a wire running from it to the router or hub. This may be ok when you can have the wires hidden away in the bedroom or the office but what if you want to use your laptop in the middle of your kitchen or living room. Do you really want wires running across the floor causing potential trip hazards amongst other things?
Wireless
Wireless networking offers many great advantages. The biggest advantage is portability. You can take your wireless laptop from your living room to your kitchen to your bedroom and still have access to all of your files and internet. This is great for using recipies from the internet right down to doing a little work in front of the TV.
Another advantage of going wireless is that you do not have to hide lots of wires going between your machines and router. This makes everything look tidier and more clutter free whilst also removing potential trip hazards from lots of loose cabling.
A wireless connection can be affected by many outside factors that you must take into consideration. A wireless signal can be seriously affected by the thickness of your walls, floors and also how many other wireless connections are in your area. With thick floors and walls your signals can become distorted or even wiped out causing problems transmitting and receiving information.
There are solutions on the market to increase the power of your wireless transmitters and receivers which would increase connectivity issues in the event that they occur.
Security is not a problem as such for wireless as long as you properly secure your network. The simplest form of protection is to use something called a WEP key. A WEP key is used on both the computer and wireless router and acts as a code between the two machines to keep data encrypted. If someone does not have the key they should not be able to access your network. There are further options available depending on your chosen wireless router to increase the level of security.
By not securing your wireless network you are essentially leaving the front door of your network and internet connection open to anyone who wishes to connect using their own wireless equipped computers.
Final Thoughts
As you can see, both technologies serve the same purpose but with different pro's and con's. If you are looking for an easy clutter free solution with increase mobility then I would recommend attempting a wireless network setup as long as you ensure that you set at least WEP encryption to protect your computers and internet connection from unauthorised access.
If you are looking for a slightly more secure and reliable connection then go with a wired setup. A wired setup should bring you faster networking speeds with the disadvantage of having to have wires running between devices.

Veal is a calf under one year-old with the teeth of a young animal, weighing less than 600lbs. and of approximately four months of age. This kind of feeding confers to the meats the characteristic delicate flavor and offers to gastronomy one of its delights. The "paiata", an Italian delicacy, consists of the first part of the tenuous intestine that, as soon it is removed from the animal, gets tied at the extremities so that the inner milk does not come out. Lamb and kid "paiata" are delicious too, when they are from milk fed animals.

In order to avoid dehydration some rules should be followed.
First, the meat must be salted when a little external crust has formed which prevents spillage of juices. An other rule is to use pots that allow fast and effective heat conduction: the best tool is the iron frying pan. Moreover it is fundamental that roasting is short (same as beef). Meat slices must be cooked fast on a live fire. Roasts must maintain a pink color inside. Cooking continues when the roast is taken out of the oven, so this also must be considered.

Each year at Thanksgiving, my family discusses what we will make for Thanksgiving dinner. Some of us are traditionalists, who shudder at the thought of anything but turkey with all the trimmings. Others are more adventurous -- especially me, since I did not grow up in the United States and I am not beholden to memories of Thanksgiving Past. I am always ready to try something new, and I believe (much to the fury of the traditionalists) that Thanksgiving is a great time to experiment with the menu.
And so it came to pass, last year, that I won the fight about the Thanksgiving menu, and, with the reluctant approval of the traditional family members, was given a free rein in the kitchen. And that's how the "turducken" Thanksgiving began.
What's a "turducken" you say? It was quite a task but well worth the trouble. I started the Wednesday before Thanksgiving by purchasing a 12 pound organic turkey, a 6 pound duck and a 3 pound fresh chicken. I carefully boned each one leaving their structure intact. You must cut carefully, especially the turkey, if it is to look natural.
I made a stuffing from the giblets of all three, adding some sage, thyme, dried apricots, and Grand Marnier. I had a little Grand Marnier too... (not recommended if you're under 21!). The first thing you do is lay the turkey out, skin-side down, open. You then put down an even layer of the stuffing, careful to not go too close to the edges. Next, you lay open the duck skin-side down right on top of the layer of stuffing. It is smaller so you can put a good layer of stuffing on it. Simply repeat the process with the chicken.
Now, the tricky part... You carefully wrap the turkey back up into its original shape, tying the drumsticks, breast, and rear together. You cover it and bake it slow and low until the innermost temperature is 165F. Be sure to baste often and remove fat as well. The duck is quite fatty. Leave it covered until the last half hour or so. You can remove the foil and it will turn a nice golden brown. Let it rest for a half hour before carving. You may want to rest a little bit yourself, also.
The big surprise comes at the table when you proudly stand to carve the 'turkey.' Using a serrated knife you slice through it like a loaf of bread. Your guests gasp, wondering what has happened. What is this thing laid before them? Then, they are treated to a meal that they have never imagined before, and a new Thanksgiving memory that will last a lifetime. (And maybe become a tradition of its own!)

You can save even more by hunting for deals to combine. You can�t usually �stack� coupons, which means to use more than one coupon at the same store at the same time. However, you can often �stack� a free shipping code with a dollars-off one. For example, that same toy store with free shipping on a $75 purchase might allow you to also use a code for $10 off the $75 purchase. So now your savings has increased from $10 to $20 just by spending a few extra minutes finding another coupon code.
How else can you save?
There are a myriad of ways to save when shopping online besides just using coupon and promotional codes. Combine these deals with coupons and you really have a great deal.
For example, look for �buy one get one� promotional deals. It might in the form of a free gift (free tote with purchase) or a free like item when a similar item is purchased. Combine these deals (which usually do not require a code) with a coupon and free shipping and you might reduce your order total to half of what it might have been without codes and special promos.
Be sure to also check out the online sites that give you cash back or points for purchases. Simply link through their site (entering the store via a link on the site�s page) and then go shopping as normal. Use all the special promos and coupons you would otherwise use, but you�ll also get a cash back rebate or points you can redeem later for gift certificates.

Your coffee maker should be made part of your regular kitchen cleaning routine. Dried coffee oils, hard water buildup, and mildew will ruin the taste of even the best blend. Not to mention that mildew buildup inside the maker is hazardous to your health.
The good news is that cleaning your coffee maker is a simple, painless task, that takes no more effect than brewing a pot of coffee. Although there is no exact method that is the best, I have determined that this is a very effective method and one that is highly recommend.
First clean all components of your coffee maker including the carafe and filter basket. Personally I put these in the dishwasher, but the choice is yours. You can hand wash them in warm soapy water as well.
Second, fill your coffee maker with 1/4 regular white vinegar and 3/4 water. Place an empty filter in the basket (no coffee) and run the coffee maker. After finished brewing the vinegar / water mixture, turn off the coffee maker and let cool. Personally I let the coffee maker cool for about 10-15 minutes before continuing. Depending on when you last cleaned the maker, you may need to run the vinegar / water mixture through the maker a second time.
Third, discard the mixture and filter and fill the coffee maker again with just water. Turn on the maker. Once this is finished, turn off the maker and let everything cool again for another 10-15 minutes.
Finally, check to see if there's still any vinegar odor coming from the maker. If so, repeat the third step until the smell of vinegar is gone. Your coffee maker should now be clean to brew a delicious pot of coffee. You should clean your coffee maker at least once a month if you're a regular coffee drinker.

However, my daughter�s mood changed completely when I put her in the yellow outfit. She struggled and cried and just wouldn�t sit still when wearing the outfit. We quit right then and there after we got one acceptable picture. I kept the stiff baby girl dresses as decoration in my daughter�s room because she likes to look at them but she hates to wear them.

This was no ordinary Sunday. At least not for Jennifer and her family. As little baby Jimmy cooed and frantically reach for all the hands that were touching him, he was happy to be made a fuss all over. The ladies who were attending the baptism all marveled at how adorable he is. As Jennifer passed around homemade butter cookies in a favor gift bag, she heard some of them talking about her unmarried status. Nevertheless, today was about Jimmy, not her. Jimmy was her precious package now and she couldn�t bear to part with him again.
Jennifer carried the baby to the altar. With every step towards the crib, she was bought back to the time when her boyfriend had walked out on her when she told him she was pregnant. Angered and ravaged at that moment, she had attempted to abort it. But now as she kisses the baby�s cheek, her eyes began to tear and she took back all the thoughts of that selfish desire. �My beloved family and friends, we are now going to start the prayer. As the girls pass through the garden, they loose all their poise and start talking and prancing among the jasmines and azaleas in the garden. It was truly beautiful, thanks to the efforts of the students and the sisters of the orphanage. It was the least they can do after the chapel was restored from generous alms giving from the community. At least, it does not look as bad as the derelict classrooms beside it.
Sister Anita held her tongue when she saw them. She wanted to remind them about Mother�s Priyanka lecture on decorum. However, as she looked at their smile, she couldn�t resist but to smile with them. At that age, those girls have gone through much more than an average teenager would. They were the abandoned children of the Calcutta. Poverty, violence and abuse were the only things they had witnessed while growing up. Anita was one of the unfortunate once.
�Come in children. Here, take these favors and give it to your new siblings.� Mother Priyanka gestured them to the gift bags lying on the floor.

However, when Seng was diagnosed with cancer, he began to rethink his actions and wondered if it was too late for him.
He knew that today was a special celebration at the church. Judging by the decorated eggs he had for breakfast, he reckoned it was Easter Sunday. He begged the nurses to bring him to a priest. He knew his time was near and he wanted to make amends before it was all too late. When they reached the church, Seng knocked and was greeted by a face so painfully familiar. His eyes began to quiver with tears.
The priest lifted Seng up ever so gently. Seng was weeping as he muttered the words of repentance from God.

Kid Pursuits
Man is better than the other animals because of his brain. If we don't use our brains we lose our superiority. Healthy kids love a constant round of activities because it stimulates that human brain. Each new pursuit will build new skills and ways of thinking.
If you spend all your time in front of the TV the kids will have to find projects of their own. Many kids now spend hours playing computer games each day. What manual skills are they building? How to push some buttons!
Systematic Kid Pursuits
Plan long-term projects including preparing for a vacation, so that the family can experience budgeting, arts and crafts, gardening, cooking, keeping and butchering animals or just fishing and cleaning the fish. Products of the kids construction will have to be proudly displayed. They may not have craftsman finish and flair, but each project represents another ability that might be needed one day. It doesn't matter if pottery is distorted if it carries water to avoid dieing of thirst.
And yes(!) boys need to learn to cook and sew. If they go to college and they can't cook their health will probably deteriorate. If they allowed a friend to bleed to death out in the bush because they couldn't thread a needle to sew them up imagine how they would feel.
A young lady might just have to stand and look helpless to get the boys clustering round to fix her car, do the gardening, clean the gutters, kill the hens, fix the door lock etc. but if she doesn't know how to do it herself, will she have as many helpers when she is 50 years old?
Conclusion
Vegetating before a TV is OK until civilization changes, perhaps tomorrow. If global warming floods coastal cities what would your family do?
